Money Worries and Financial Wellbeing
March 24 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Financial stress costs us all dearly – the individual, their family and their employer. The pandemic has resulted in many health and social care staff being worried about their personal finances and financial stability generally. Money worries can impact on your wellbeing or that of someone in your team and often it is not easy for people in these circumstances to ask for help and support with such issues.
In this webinar, Kevin Duffy, Scotland Partnership Manager with the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS),
will provide an updated overview of the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) and highlight some of their free information and resources available on MoneyHelper to support financial wellbeing.
MaPS is an arm’s-length body sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, and engages with HM Treasury on policy matters relating to financial capability and debt advice. Their mission is to ensure everyone in the UK can easily access the information they need to make the right financial decisions for them throughout their lives, making the most of their money and pensions.
