European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
The ECDL programme defines the skills and competencies necessary to use a computer and common computer applications. It offers a wide range of modules including Computer Essentials, Word Processing and IT Security. Candidates take tests in the modules which are most relevant to their educational and professional requirements, thereby creating their ECDL Profile.

NHS 24 does not offer the European Computer Driving License, however training/ resources on digital skills are available - for further information, please contact the L&PE Team using the contact us form.
NHS Golden Jubilee
NHS Golden Jubilee does not offer a European Computer Driving License. However, you can access training and resources on digital skills via the IT Skills Learning Portal: https://www.dls.nhs.uk/Home.
Here you can view training videos on various elements of the Microsoft Office packages ranging from beginner to advanced levels.

British Computer Society Qualifications (BCS)
Computers are now a vital aspect of everyday working life. BCS Qualifications offer the ideal introduction for those who have never used a computer before and may be wary about doing so. The British Computer Society offer a range of IT qualifications, including the basics of a computer right through to advanced learning on Spreadsheets. All our qualifications are accredited on the SCQF (Scotland) framework and are open to everyone regardless of status, education, age, ability or understanding.
